Action Research On The Mutual-Assistance Network Construction For Empty Nesters

With the arrival of aging society in our country,Empty Nester group as a growing population,the problems need attention.The elderly social group itself belongs to Vulnerable groups whose social status is low and suffer age discrimination,and Empty Nester is the vulnerable groups of vulnerable groups,the Empty Nesters need more attentionJEmpty nesters’ endowment problem is worrying.Their social support are more weak and they are lack of the strong support of their children,relatives and neighbours.Usually,the empty nest elderly will face more social and family problem,they can’t meet the needs in their daily care,spiritual consolation and health care.Today,social work has gradually developed into various areas,we should improve the quality of life of empty nest elderly,meet the demand of the empty nest elderly and make the old people realize their self value in society.The number of Empty Nesters is increasing year by year,the endowment changes from family support to social endowment.How to give the Empty Nesters a better life and improve their living standards will become an important service direction for social work in the future.This study,viewed from professional social work,with the community care and social support theory as the theory support,taking the L Community as the research field,taking the Empty Nester groups in L Community as the research object,using the method of community work and group work method,useing the method of action research,through preliminary research and evaluation to the Empty Nesters,analysing the feasibility and necessity of the mutual-assistance network construction of Empty Nester,understanding the living status and the demand of the L community Empty Nesters,formulating the corresponding service plan,integrating community resources,improving the Empty Nesters’ social functions,constructing and improving the mutual-assistance network for Empty Nesters in L Community,improving the Empty Nesters’ social identity and sense of belonging,improving the Empty Nesters’ personal ability,changing their attitude towards life, increasing the Empty Nesters’ life fun and making their life more colorful.Finally, assess the process and effect of the whole service, summary,and put forward the feasible proposals.
