Comparative Analysis Of The Pakistani Taliban And The Afghanistan Taliban

After "9-11" terrorist attacks, The United States and NATO uses eradicating terrorism to cover for launching a war against terrorism in Afghanistan. Until now,this anti-terrorist war intensified turmoil in Afghanistan and Pakistan border region and generated the other one Taliban--The Pakistani Taliban instead of rooting out the Afghanistan Taliban and The al-Qaeda.In recent years, they have struck the terrorist violent attacks more frequently in Afghanistan,Pakistan and the near by area.On the one hand, there are a lot similarities in terrorist activities, recruit of foreign terrorists and ways of propaganda.On the other hand,in aspects of organizational structure, political appeal and targets of assault, The Pakistani Taliban is different from the Afghanistan Taliban.Therefore, the author made a clear comparison analysis of the Afghanistan Taliban and the Pakistani Taliban, this thesis tries to analyze from internal and external factors, guiding principle, Personnel composition, structure characteristics, model of action, strategy characteristics, the direction of the future development and influence. Furthermore, in light of after military of the United States and International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) withdrawn from Afghanistan in2014, border area security will be confronted with deterioration between Afghanistan and Pakistan.Deterrence and elimination do not work to Taliban as the representative of all terrorism by simple military means alone. Taking the whole situation into account and planning accordingly,scientific and comprehensive strategy are effective ways to terrorism. If Afghanistan, Pakistan and the relative parties,such as:US,NATO,India and some counties like that, don’t realize and handle the severe anti-terrorism situation and make a scientific and effective anti-terrorism policy with practice, the security situation of this area probably will be faced with deterioration.At present, comparative research and analysis about the Afghanistan Taliban and the Pakistani Taliban are rare at domestic and foreign, therefor, the author intends to make a systematic study between them and explore similarities, differences, future development trend and influences to others getting valuable ideas.
