Empirical Research On The Influence Factors Of Urban Community Mutual Assistance For Old Age In China--

Along with the rapid development of China’s urbanization and the aging of population, to solve the problem of urban aged-care has become social problems and needs some pretty urgent attention. Empty-nesters and "Left-behind" the old man have increased in the social environment of grow old before it gets rich, there’s a certain gap between country have offered financial and the demand of the social old-age security. Urban community mutual-support as a new way of cares for the aged, domestic and overseas scholars have few study on it, it has not been generally recognized by the public, and also lack of widespread mass base. Therefore, it is necessary to to carry out empirical research and analysis for the Model of Urban community mutual-support, make useful to explore for developing China’s old-age undertaking.In this paper, select four urban community of Nanchang, in Jiangxi Province to do empirical study on the current old-age retirement, through interviews, anonymous questionnaire, some factors that can influence Urban community mutual-support, such as gender, number of children, children live far or near, public welfare organization quantity, average per capita monthly income, personal health, using the SPSS19.0 software to get data for correlation analysis with Chi-square test of SPSS. The results showed that the above six factors, except gender has no effect on the choice of the mode of community mutual-support and personal health has a certain effect, the other four factors for the elderly has significant effect on choosing that. In addition, the elderly acknowledge of community mutual-support, the elderly satisfaction with the way of supporting aged currently, the choice of the ways of future pension and views of the current pension costs and so on were investigated and analyzed.Meantime, the article also analyzed experience of a mutual community support in developed countries and the developed provinces in our country, gets some revelation on practices mutual community support, and on this basis putting forward the proposal to perfect the mutual community support. In other words, to expand and perfect our country’s mutual community support from number of non-profit organization, income levels, for mutual endowment patterns of propaganda, and community support system itself.
