The Growth Path Of Outstanding Social Workers In Beijing Community Youth Club

Beijing is the cultural and political center, with the rapid economic and social development, attracting a steady stream of people around the world.2015 Beijing 5-35-year-olds will reach 10 million. With the number of young people increasing,the needs of youth service and Youth problem becomes serious.On the one hand, there are a number of issues of the non-Beijing adolescent on social adaptation, urban integration, dating entertainment and so on. On the other hand, a large number of young people bring challenges to the Beijing city management. Traditional Children and Youth Services has been unable to meet the diverse needs of young people. Beijing Youth League is based on various considerations, basic services Investigation and Research on Community Youth commence,boldly proposed "the establishment of community youth exchange, explore community CYL terminal carrier" ideas.The Social Worker as the front-line staff of community youth, the quality, professional competence and personal integrity of social workers, and many other factors will impact on the quality of youth exchange services.The diverse needs of young people also presents a challenge for community youth exchange social work. Social workers not only do preventive, developmental youth work, but also do therapeutic youth work. In this study, it is hoped that through explore the outstanding social growth path to find the experience and law, in order to provide reference in the training and construction for young social workers.On the basis of interviews with outstanding social workers, this study divided Social Workers into three categories——Keban Sheng, Middleman, Layman. Describes the growth path of three different types of outstanding social worker——the Professional growth path of Keban Sheng, the Specialized Growth Path of Middleman,the Careers again growth path again of Layman.Next,the author analyzes the growth path of three social workers from the perspective of microcopic individual and the perspective of macrocopic process.Different growth path can not be separated from two factors——Internal self-growth and external support.The Internal self-growth is the cornerstone and fundament.External support is the condition and guarantee.Based on assessment indicators of Outstanding Social Worker, combined with the author’s interviews,the author summarizes six aspects characteristics of the outstanding social workers.Excellent social workers need to have a strong professional competence,good professionalism,a high level of business,ability to work a solid foundation,standardized service mode and good relationships.Finally, I reflect on the upbringing of community youth exchange outstanding social, combined with the factors and limitations to their growth, put forward a series of recommendations for the Beijing Youth League, social firms and individual social workers, hoping to better community youth exchange social growth and the construction of Beijing’s ambitious social personnel.
