The Research Of Youth Virtual Community In Network Political Participation

With the rapid development of Internet, growing number of Internet population and increasingly frequent network behavior, virtual community is becoming mature, most citizens can participate in political life quickly and freely through this communicate platform and communication environment. In the process of network political participation, people gathered and formed relatively fixed network community, for the same political views, interest expression, the way of thinking, interests and hobbies, which increasingly become an important force to promote in the administrative decision-making of democratization and scientific. What’s more, youth as the main users of Internet, also showed great enthusiasm and advantage, is the main force of network political participation. Thus, study the formation process of youth virtual community and its influencing factors in network political participation, explore its effects for the network political participation, and put forward effective countermeasures and suggestions are of great significance to give the youth groups scientific guide in network political participation, make them play the active role of main force, and promote democracy and social stability.This study reference related to research achievements of the academic for the virtual community, from the perspective of network political participation, guided by the related group theory, taking the “Smile Secretary” of Tianya as a Case, using network observation, and a combination of text analysis to study the network political participation in the process of youth virtual community for empirical research. After analysis, the author draw the following conclusions: First, the formation of the network virtual community is a dynamic process of evolution which can be divided into the germination period, growth period, mature period, digestion period four stages. Second, the formation of the network virtual community is the outcome of combined action of multiple factors, including the generation and change of the interactive subject, the topic of self-direction, the focus and the interaction between the members. Third, compared with the traditional social community, the network virtual community has some new features in aspects. These features including freedom and spontaneity on community forming, friability and openness on community structure, no face-to-face and unbalance on community interaction, self-discipline and heteronomy on community management. Forth, the influence of the youth virtual community to the network political participation is mainly manifested in the psychological reinforcement, public opinion tractional and strengthen the behavior. In order to display the positive effects of the virtual community youth, avoid negative impact, the author put forward three suggestions from the aspects of government, website, and internet users. The government should promote the network legislation, to standardize network order; the website should strengthen supervision and management to optimize the network environment; the Internet users should to improve the quality, and enhance ethical awareness.
