With the development of economy, science and technology, the average human life expectancy has been extended, the problem of aging population has become serious all over the world. Since its entry into an aging society in 2000, China has been profoundly influenced by the severe aging phenomenon in politics, economy, culture and society.Under the special overall situation, Taking measures to cope with the challenge of population ageing actively is a prior task. Especially, the way to develop human resources of elderly is a necessary research topic.First of all, this thesis will expound the background and research significance of the topic, and review in related domestic and international relevant theories and research trends of human resources development of elderly. Then, define the main concepts such as aging population, human resources of elderly and conclude the Theoretical basis that supported the thesis.Secondly, through the statistics annals of the data, it will analyze the present situation and feature of aging population of China. Combining our country’s relevant policies which released recent years and the characteristics of the elderly group, it expounds the necessity and feasibility of human resource development of elderly.Again, By the way of questionnaires, it surveys the situation of human resources development of Wuhan elderly. It chooses five factors which may influence the re-employment of the elderly, such as gender, age, economic status and educational level to research if the elderly are willing to be re-employed. Through the cross-table status and the establishment of Logistic regression analysis, it gets the objective conclusion. What’s more, analyzes some other aspects of questionnaires, like channel of development,difficulties. In the end, it sums up the existing problems in the human resources development of elderly.Finally, it summarizes the idiomatical practice experience from Japan, America and Germany in developing the human resource of elderly. Based on the analysis of above all,in the final chapter, this thesis raises the following countermeasures and suggestions for China’s human resources development of elderly.
