Study On The Relationship Between The Residents’ Living Level And The Construction Safety Level

The construction industry is one of pillar industries of the national economy, is a high input, high-yield industry. Has been high risk of second only to the mining industry, construction accidents have occurred from time to time. In 2012 the number of deaths due to accidents in construction is about 624 people, causing huge losses. Construction safety situation is still grim, and seriously threats the country’s economy, people’s life and property safety. Therefore, how to take effective measures to prevent or reduce the occurrence of safety accidents, to improve the level of construction safety standard has become an important research topic today.The construction industry has wide coverage, large number of practitioners, and is closely related to the life of the residents. With the improvement of people’s living level, the construction industry practitioners put forward higher and higher demands on construction safety. From the perspective of residents’ life, to explore the relationship between the residents’ living level and the level of construction safety, in order to find out the factors which have influence on construction safety level from the living, thus to improve the level of construction safety.This paper mainly uses the method of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis method, has established the evaluation index system of residents living level and the construction safety level, and uses the method of factor analysis to reduce the dimension of the multi index. The relation model between the residents living level and construction safety level based on time sequence, with construction safety level as the explained variable, the residents living level as explanatory variables for quantitative analysis and analysis results are obtained. The result shows: ①the national economic has a weak negative influence on construction safety level;②the national cultural and education level has an obvious effect on construction safety level;③the residents living conditions for construction safety level positive role in promoting is small;④the level of social security has a negative effect on construction safety level.Finally, based on the results of empirical analysis, standing from the perspective of government, enterprise and individual to give some policy recommendations and suggestions, hoping to improve the level of construction safety.
