The Irrational Phenomenon Research Of Internet Political Participation In China

Since the reform and opening up, the development of Chinese society suddenly accelerated. Along with the rapid development of science and technology, the rapid popularity of the internet make the internet play an increasingly important role in China’s political life, which greatly promoted the country political democratization process. On the one hand, with the people’s demands to safeguard their legitimate rights and express their willingness increasingly strong, the internet becomes an important channel for the general public to express their political will of the government, pass awareness of political participation, and influence government decision-making. On the other hand, with the construction of the reform of the political system and democratic institutions, the internet becomes an important way to improve the democratic system of government and officials, enrich the forms of democracy, expand democratic channels. Of course, internet political participation has negative aspects including the internet irrational internet political participation.In this paper make empirical analysis the problem of irrational internet political participation of our citizens currently exist in, combined with the development of the current internet political participation and its impact on the political reality, the proposed path to achieve rational political participation.
