Research On The Social Security Of Landless Peasants’ In The Urbanization Process

Since the reform and opening up, China has entered a period of rapid development of urbanization, a large number of suburban land been expropriated,prompting landless peasants continuously integrated into the urban life, the scope of city has been expanded, However, farmers’ land expropriation means that their could lose basic livelihood, they will because of low level of education, employment skills and other factors is not strong, resulting in re-employment more difficult. In recent years, due to land acquisition and resettlement unscientific system, costing unreasonable compensation,security system is not perfect and so on, making the production and life issues have become increasingly prominent after their lose lands, it will become a potential threat to the economic development and social stability.How to improve the social security system, how reasonable compensation and resettlement of landless peasants, to solve the long-term livelihood problem of landless peasants? In this paper, basis on the domestic and foreign relevant researches and Marxism property rights theory, theory of sustainable livelihoods, Marxist theory of social security, using the literature review and field interviews, Tonghua, Jilin province as an example, an objective analysis of the current face of landless peasants problem, discusses how to improve the social security countermeasures of landless peasants.The results of this study found that at present Tonghua area of landless peasants after obtain compensation for life is basically stable, but, it should be noted that of landless farmers problems have not been solved reasonably, the institutional aspects, should improve the land requisition system, science employment policies and high level of social security, to protection of landless peasants into urban life; the government needs to establish a dynamic job placement mode and multi-channel compensation standards and achieve the landless peasants sustainable income, to protection landless peasants production and life; the landless peasants,they must change the concept of employment, actively looking for jobs. Only in this way can continuously improve the level of social security of landless peasants..But at Tonghua area have many farmers landless, and fear of causing group petition, I can only select a limited number of samples for the investigation, designed to provide advice can refer to social security for peasants.
