On Students’ Policing Management Based On Professionalism Quality Training

In the new historic period, the working focus of the police college has changed from training police officers quantitatively to instructing practice quality education. In the college management and the improvement of the policing management, the instruction of the students’ practice quality should be focused on. In China, the closed-off policing management mode has existed for a long time, which shows the most obvious compulsory feature. In this style, students are managed through rules, which is not suitable for individualized teaching and the personal development needs with people first. Hence, the author makes deep research on the policing management in the police college, and certain managing strategies have been proposed. Through reformation and renewal, the policing management can be improved, students’ whole quality level would be promoted, the core potential value will be stimulated, the good self-management skill would be grasped by students; also, the police work style which fits for students’ characteristics will be formulated, the comprehensive talents who are suitable for the time development will be trained; During research, the effective program is proposed according to the problems in the current policing management, with purpose to better the management, improve students’ comprehensive quality, optimize the police management level, which obtain the important practical significance.In this paper through the method of combining theory with practice, the policing management in police colleges is studied. First, the policing management is analysed in theory, based on this, by questionnaire and interview, taking Hunan Professional College for Judicial Police as an example, the author makes research on the problems of policing management, and also comes up with effective solutions.Firstly, the author analyses the scientific connotation,the purpose the main content and the key significance of policing management theoretically; Then, the questionnaire has been made among students, teachers and administrators in Hunan Professional College for Judicial Police, and all those subjects have been interviewed, from which problems are discovered, such as more management, less education; more form, less content; more discipline, less communication; more integration, less personality. Finally, the relevant reasons are also analysed from the society, the college and the individuals.The problems exist in Hunan Professional College for Judicial Police are common in most police colleges. Combining the request to the policing management in the new period, a whole thinking for bettering the policing management of judicial police college is raised, and also the project with purpose of improving the policing management has been put forwarded, including training students’ professional consciousness, ethics, skills and the improvement of policing management in the professional behavior.
