Yan’an period is an important period of the development of the communist party of China.During this period, the communist party of China got important experience in politics, military, economic and cultural education.These experience can not be acquired without the joint efforts of the party’s first generation of central collective leadership, and Li Weihan is one of them.During yan’an period, Li Weihan served as the central organization department minister, the central party school principal, vice principal and shanxi college party secretary and many other duties, but what he mainly has done was the work of party’s education,and has made an outstanding contribution to the work of education in the base area during the Anti-Japanese War period.The education practice of Li Weihan, first of all, implemented the education policy of the communist party of China during Anti-Japanese War period, secondly it is a process of education innovation.During yan’an period, Li Weihan took practice in cadre education, national education, basic education and social education and other education practice, corrected the problems existing in the development of education during the Anti-Japanese War, played a unique role in cadre education, opened up the party’s national education career, created the academic atmosphere of freedom and equality, has played a very important role in the process of education development in yan ’an.There is no doubt that Li weihan made great success in the education work in the yan’an period,in general, the CPC in Yan’an period made great success in the revolution of education,it was a successful transmission of the Marxism as well.Education thoughts of Li Weihan is also very innovative and practical.Health, culture, and the outlook on life is the primary content of the education thoughts.Secondly, he insisted on that education should serve for the Anti-Japanese War, for political ideological line.Thirdly, mobilizing the public education, learning from the masses, to believe in the masses, and rely on the masses is the main method of Li Weihan’s education work.Fourthly, education should be combined with production practice, which became the effective form of education to adapt to the conditions during the Anti-Japanese War.Fifthly, paying attention to investigation and study, applying theory with practice and reality, is the basic principles of education work for Li Weihan, and also his potent weapon against dogmatism. Sixthly, keeping carrying out criticism and self-criticism, this is not only an important content of advocating learning method of combining self-study with discussion,and also important leadership skills from Li Weihan to manage education work.Throughout the history, the Chinese communist party in Yan’an period made all the work and efforts which is mainly for the revolutionary cause, and for the victory of Anti-Japanese War, the primary purpose of education work in Yan’an period is no except too, Li Weihan undoubtedly played an important role in it.After the founding of new China, as an important leader for the party and the state, Li Weihan directly involved in the planning of many important policies and decisions, which brought many of the education thoughts from yan’an period into the education of the People’s Republic of China.His education practice and thought bring much experience for the later generations,such as people-oriented, meeting the needs of the practice, opposing to dogmatism,depending education on the people, building the education environment of democracy and freedom and equality and so on.
