The Study Of The Placement Of Retired Soldiers

The placement of retired soldiers is a traditional work. It originated from the establishment of the country and the army, and also developed with the development of society and economy. It is closely related to the stability of the country and economic construction. The placement has always been paid great attention to by Party and government, since the army building in 1921.Retired soldiers settlement system in our country was compatible with the economic and social conditions in a fairly long historical period. However, the current placement is facing mounting challenges, which is in great need of reform and perfect. Therefore, the planned economy based arrangement for retired soldiers must be reformed and rebuild to a new system,which is adjusted with the socialist market economic system and the defense reform.Especially since 2014, the placement encountered great difficulties. Economic development enters the "new normal", and the stress of employment is increasing. The settlement of retired soldiers in Taihu county itself has certain regional characteristics. It also need to have more new theories and ideas to solve the ever-graving problem. This paper firstly was a trimming research on the legal basis and four evolving stages of demobilized soldiers’ settlement. Then taking the example of T county,the paper analyzed the present situation of retired soldiers settlement and explores the problems existing. This paper also study on foreign placements’ enlightenment. At the last part, this paper made some recommendations for the placement.
