The Public Law Protection Of The Citizen’s Freedom Of Speech On The Internet

Freedom of expression, which reflects the independence and expression of a person’s thought is not limited. Freedom of speech is the most important basic right of citizens, and it has been raised to the constitutional level in almost all modern democratic countries. Freedom of speech, as the most basic right of citizens, has been improving in the field of basic theoretical research, but at the same time, the development of science and technology and the change of the times also give more new meaning. As the thought of the outside, the expression of a variety of carriers to achieve a more broad and long, the Internet information dissemination and release of high speed and high efficiency to the protection of freedom of expression has brought a number of new issues. For the citizens on the Internet free speech rights protection is facing the lack of regulation of the chaotic pattern, and the related question discussion does not seem to follow "the pace of the times", on the one hand, people enjoying the right to speak freely in the Internet, on the other hand is difficult to escape brings the risk. Therefore, the public power in the face of the network may touch the bottom line of the law and public order, but also inevitably need to be a strong regulatory. It is not only the right of citizens to exercise freedom of speech on the Internet, but also to the right of this kind of right. This paper first defines the meaning of the right of freedom of speech on the Internet, the more traditional media, citizens through the Internet to exercise freedom of expression, the fourth part discusses the legal protection of citizens’rights of freedom of speech. In our country, the right to freedom of expression on the network is lack of public law to adjust, the citizens in the exercise of the right to be subjected to the excessive restrictions on public power, rights are infringed upon the lack of public law relief. Finally, according to the above problems, we propose some suggestions on how to improve the public law protection of the right to freedom of speech on the Internet.
