| New military revolution broke out and spread around the world to make war into the information age,because of that The gap between the world’s armies is growing which not only present in military weapons and organizational establishment system but also in the quality of military personnel. So, the training of military personnel is reagarded as a key move to enhance the combat effectiveness and military superiority. It has been 10 years since the PLA trained military cadres which relying on regular higher education. but The growth of our military cadres is difficult to meet the needs of the army’s modernization.It is the practice of the world to rely on the national education to cultivate the talents and the education superiority, especially in USA ROTC. After the long-term development and reform, the ROTC has formed a perfect training mode. Now days, The rapid development of higher education in China provides a good opportunity and condition for the training of high quality military cadres. The successful experience and practice of the training group of the American reserve officers is very important for the training system of the national defense students in China. This article compared the training model between national defense students of colleges of China and the US ROTC. After studying the history of the model of training military personnel in both us and china, we can infer that the US have already had an impeccable personnel training system which has important significance for improving the training mode of the national defense students. Meanwhile, through the investigation of the national defense students in school, we can find problem in legal system, organizational institutions, assessment and selection mechanism which can help us to improve our training model. |
