The Political Society:Reanalysis To Political Participation Of The Low-income Groups In ChineseContext

With the rapid development of economy and society, we are not only creating a huge social wealth, but also living with many social problems.Many methods can be used to explain and analyze this phenomenon, but the civil society, a theoretical framework from western world, is primary way by Chinese researchers to treat and understand these questions. However the explanatory power of civil society is not enough when we use it to explain and understand some phenomenon of the underclass politics. The civil society also be criticized by many historians and sociologists because it ignore the lives of underclass. So studies and scholars from India, have brought a new framework called political society. This framework came from the opposition to the western elitism, be used to explain actions of underclass. Thus the key question in this article is in Chinese context, political society, can be used much better to understand the underclass and its actions who are living in the city.Compared with civil society, the political society will conresponds to underclass in Chinese society in historical context, reality and the political practice of underclass. The model of political participation which can stands out of civil society framework can give us a different scale to watch the action of political participation. Differences from the binary opposition of "right or wrong", we can use the new framework or a new way to explain those "anomie actions". But the "political society" has its own disadvantages. The theory is becoming fragmentation, its nuclear which emphasizes the live and welfare maybe dim the people right. So it is necessary to make the theory localization.
