Research On Ideological And Political Education In Rural Areas Of Kashi

As the lifeline of the construction and development in rural areas, ideological and political education is an important guarantee to promote the successful completion of various tasks in rural areas. With the deepening of harmonious new rural construction and development in Kashi Region, the leading role of ideological and political education cannot be ignored. Kashi Region,located with some neighboring Central Asian countries, is a strategically important area in the Silk Road economic belt. As s region of ethnic minorities, religious atmosphere, and the anti-secession reverse osmosis special reality, it has become increasingly important to carry out ideological and political education in Kashi Region. Analyzing its ideological and political education based on the current special regional situation in Kashi Region, the study has some empirical and realistic significance.Based on field research, this thesis is divided into five parts. The first part introduces the whole idea of this thesis. The second part elaborates the theories of the Marxist classical writers and our party on ideological and political education in rural, clarifying the theoretical basis of ideological and political education in rural areas. The third part, from the realistic development demands, discusses the importance of ideological and political education in rural areas in keeping the social stability, promoting economic and political legal development, improving the thought and knowledge quality of the villagers. The fourth part analyzes results achieved in the ideological and political education in Kashi rural areas, namely raising villagers’ awareness of democracy, enhancing maintaining stability ideological education, implementing cultural and sports activities. However, there still some problems need to be solved, namely ideological awareness and legal concepts need to be raised, educational content, methods, carrier is insufficient, education team is weak, religious extremist ideological discourse weaken the effectiveness of the ideological and political education in Kashi rural areas. What’ s more, this thesis analyzes the reasons for these problems. The fifth part, based on the characteristics of rural areas, regional ethnic characteristics in Kashi Region, this thesis proposes some suggestions as follows: to strengthen the propaganda and education in rural areas, to improve the villagers’ intellectual quality, to strengthen cultural construction, to explore modern and ethnic traditional culture resources optimization educational content, methods, carriers, to strengthen awareness of the importance, to establish and improve the selection, education and training, supervision and evaluation mechanism for local officials, to dilute rural religious atmosphere with modern culture.This paper, based on the theoretical and practical basis in rural areas, has some pioneering and innovative significance. Especially for the target of research, Kashi Region has become an independent point for the study of the ideological and political education in rural areas, which plays a certain role in pushing forward with studies on ideological and political education in rural areas in South Xinjiang Autonomous Region. This thesis deeply researches the reality of the ideological and political education in rural areas of Kashgar and provides according countermeasures and suggestions.
