Thought of Chinese ancient talent reflects the importance of the talents in the process of administering state affairs well and ensuring national security, which voices truth that get talent gets the world, or lost it. At any time or in any country, people are the most scarcest and valuable resources, and advanced idea of talent is of great importance to talent management.The great cause of building socialism with Chinese characteristics, after all depends on the ambitious and innovative with high-quality personnel. The leaders of CPC puts forward different talent strategies according with the different stages of development, the purpose of which is to attract excellent talents to the undertakings of the Party and the State.This paper, through the study of the Communist Party of China(CPC) referring to the traditional Chinese "elite", by logical and historical analysis,summarize the relationship of succession,keeping pace with the times and innovation between CPC and traditional thought of talents, to vigorously epitomise the landscape of talent idea with Chinese characteristics,which provides references to the great cause of strategy of strengthening the nation on talent,the construction of well-off society, realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. This paper consists of four parts:The first part:The "elite" theory overview. Firstly, it describes what is talent, talent thought connotation and what the talent of traditional Chinese it is. Next, describing traditional Chinese thoughts of talent, from four perspectives,that is the thoughts of meritocracy,elevating the elite with talent and good morals,demonstrating,seeking the truth according to its nameThe second part:The conversion of CPC in traditional "elite" thought. First of all, from the traditional "both ability and political integrity" idea, CPC has formed a contemporary personnel selection system in practice gradually, which is the beginning of talent strategy. Next, to form modern talents training mechanism,it transformed from traditional opinion of not avoiding discrimination of "meritocracy" mechanism to nurturing talents of elevating the elite, which is the core of talent strategy at present. Then, it discuss the relationship between talent and human nature,self-discipline and heteronomy from the perspective of our ancient management of combination of ability and political integrity,which is the ensurence of talent management systemFinally, in order to form principle of contemporaneous talent evaluation by learning the traditional "transcending both" for "official" and "popularity" evaluation standards.The third part:The characteristics and principles of transformation about traditional "elite" thought conducted by CPC. It expounds the features of conversion in the selection, training, talent assessment and so on,through referrals and a combination of examinations, special education and physical exercise, organizational assessment and the masses.And then,it discuss the principles of "all", "performance-oriented" and "eclectic".The fourth part:The laws that CPC should follow in the conversion. Summerising some laws should be followed presently,by analysing some mistaken ideas of "sectarianism" and "patriarchal", "jellyfish".With reviewing the developing skeleton of CPC’s thought of talents, this paper aims at summing up thoughts of their traditional "elite" systematically,and discovering the features and laws of succession and innovation in talents idea,which is of great significance,for understanding and grasping the basic connotation of the CPC’s thought of talents and its features,enriching our research theories of talent thoughts strengthening the construction of officials personnel,in the new period understanding and implementing strategy that enriches the ways of recruiting and attracting the best minds and makes best of them,proposed by XI Jinping as General Secretary of the CPC. |
