The Party is actually the holder of national power. Then, the transition of Party system logically impacts in political, economical and social areas. After World War Two, specifically since 1955, Parties in Japan had revived and formed a Year 55 Political Structure that is characterized with dominance of LDP. The Year 55 Political System ended in 1993 when Fine Sichuan cabinet was in saddle and the same time the monopoly of LDP came to end after a 38 years run. From that time, the political party system in Japan has gone into transition to some new formal one. From the perspective of relationship between Parties, the collapse of the old political structure relates with the clan politics. As the frictions inside the new ruling Party and the lack of experience of the latter, with rally of LDP, Fine Sichuan cabinet finally went out of power. Otherwise, the new electoral system began to be applied and Japan ushered in age of political system transition. After that, as the raise of DPJ, LDP has to face the challenge of the latter. The throne game between these two marks the beginning of Two Major Parties political system. So, the change of electoral system, the weakening clan, the fall of LDP and the raise of DPJ work together in a forming new political system. At 2003, the DPJ held power in the first in history, which made Two Major Parties political system a reality. Otherwise, as the LDP retook the power three years later, the future of Two Major Parties politics system becomes questionable. The reasons are as following:the disequilibrium between different ideologies, the infighting between clans inside the party and change of social class structure. However, it doesn’t mean that the political system with trait of monopoly will return; instead it implies a multi-party system with LDP and DPJ as leading parties in various coalitions that include other minor parties.
