With the increasing pressure of work and life, job burnout generatesd in many industries.《The 2012 China Professionals Burnout Status Survey Report》of Human resources development network shows that 74.6% of the respondents showed mild burnout, every 10 people have one performance for the serious job burnout, of which the proportion of government or institutions up to 16.6%, civil servants has become an important group of job burnout. Job burnout of civil servants is not only a personal problem, but a problem involving the quality of public service and the efficiency of government operation. Job burnout is threatening the physical and mental health of civil servants, and the work enthusiasm of civil servants, and it also affects the implementation of government functions, has become a bottleneck restricting the construction of service oriented government. Therefore, to strengthen the research of job burnout problem, effectively alleviate and eliminate the problem of civil servants’ job burnout has become a top priority.The high intensity of work, the frequent exchange, the low wages, the complex work environment, make the customs officers plagued by job burnout. The customs secure the national economy, maintain foreign trade order. The job burnout of the customs officers directly affects the effectiveness of customs supervision and service level, to downplay will bring immeasurable loss.The Huangpu Customs officials as the object of study, in depth study of the domestic and foreign professional burnout basic theory and measurement methods based on. Firstly, the paper introduces the connotation and manifestation of job burnout. Then from emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, diminished personal accomplishment, analysis of the present situation and the reason of the Huangpu Customs officers’ job burnout, and analysis of the differences through sex, marriage, age and educational level. The last from individuals, organizations and society proposed intervention measures, help the customs officers eliminating of job burnout.
