Study Of Rural Youth Employment Qinglong Manchu Autonomous County, Hebei Province

Employment is the source of the people’s livelihood. The employment problem has always been the focus of the whole society. At present, therefore, youth employment represents one of the greatest challenges to advancement for our country. With the comprehensive social transformation, the increasing diversification of the economic structure, employment situation, organizational form and lifestyle have had a profound influence on the value orientation and career choice of the young workers. Youth employment is the basis of survival and development of youth. How to solve the problem of youth employment is not only a matter of immediate interests and the survival and development of youth, but also a matter of social harmony and stability.In this paper, we study on the current employment situation of local rural young people in Qinglong Manchu Autonomous County. Solving this problem is of great significance on the maintenance of the local harmony and stability and economic development.To investigate the employment situation for young people in Qinglong Manchu Autonomous County, we focused on youth career mentality, youth employment pathways, youth employment policies and services survey. On the basis of the investigation and reasearch on the employment status of rural youth in Qinglong Manchu Autonomous County, we proposed the main problems of rural youth employment are the imperfect social security system, the absence of government function, the generally low comprehensive quality of youth, and so on.In view of the existing problems, the restricting factors in employment were analyzed from the government system, social environment and self-quality three aspects. Through the analysis above, we presented some solutions to promote youth employment from the perspective of the government, such as improving the social security system, developing county economy, adjusting and optimizing the industrial structure, strengthening policy support, and supporting vocational education. From the perspective of the society, we presented some other solutions, such as building the public employment service platform, strengthening the employment skills investment and entrepreneurship training of rural youth, and promoting entrepreneurship to create more employment opportunities. From the personal perspective of youth, we presented changing the concept of adverse employment, strengthening their own learning, and getting a job on multiple perspective. Finally, from the perspective of the communist youth league, we explored effective ways to serve the youth employment and entrepreneurship in order to expect the full employment of young people.
