The Local Government Credibility Construction Under The Network Public Opinion Crisis

Online public opinion situation is a special product of the Internet Period. Through the internet in politics, cyber citizens express personal views on hot spots of society; when involved in adverse events, many internet users leave an excess of negative perspective with negative emotions, which may cause serious opinion crises. For the credibility of the government’s influence,online public opinion crisis can be good servant but a bad master. Respond properly, such a crisis can become an opportunity to enhance the credibility of the government; on the contrary, it will lead to decline in the credibility of the government. It is a new era of Internet issues of governance how to deal with the online public opinion.Based on related concepts and theories of both public opinion research networks and government credibility, this article describes the evaluation criteria of the network of public opinion formation process and local government credibility; analysis of the government’s response inadequate local network public opinion crisis and the resulting decline in the credibility of the reasons; and on the basis of detailed analysis of government and the public, government and media relations on the local government to enhance the credibility given some suggestions. Among which, we analyzed the network of public opinion when faced with crisis, leading to decline in the credibility of the government’s local government for their own reasons and the resulting problems. This article argues that for enhancing the credibility. Governments must strengthen their capacity-building, and correctly handle the relationship between public opinion occurs when a good network with relevant parties, and improve local government public opinion crisis response system.This paper is divided into five parts, the first chapter "Introduction" : clarify that background, significance, research status of this problem at home and abroad, the theoretical basis of this study and the main research methods and other basic issues.
