It’s common that undergraduates’ absent of classes and especially for seniors. Thispaper analyses the seniors’ truancy in qualitative method.The senior’s truancy is a collective behavior which is persistent and transmissible. Itcan be broken down into two types: dominant truancy and recessive truancy. This paperdescribes the process and feelings of a senior’s truancy,and then author interviews twoother seniors and a first-year graduate to testify the conclusion. To classify the conversationby topics, and follows the next conclusions, Which are:(1) The truancy in seniors iscommon, which can be broken down into two types: dominant truancy and recessive truancy.(2) The factors that resulting in truancy are employment market’s signals、teachers’methods、students themselves and school’s weak management.(3)They go to do moreimportant things that means to themselves.(4) Students understand the choice of truancy.(5)Soft misprision of truancy. Finally, the author gives suggestions from three aspects,─government、school and seniors themselves.
