China has the largest numbers of aged people. According to the census2010,13.26%ofpopulation is more than60years old, which increased2.93%than census2000; moreover,8.87%of population is over65year-old which rise1.91%comparing with census2000. Thespeed of aged tendency is sharp.The aged tendency of population is a main problem currently in our country. With itslong history, Baoding has lots of empty nest aged people. This article aims for analyzing lifequality of this group in Baoding, according to its conditions and characteristics, it defines theconnotation and extension of aged empty nest people, compares general definition of lifequality, selects evaluating indicator of empty nest people life quality, analyzes the fact ofempty nest aged people by the method of research and statistics from the aspects of economyquality, mental quality, health quality, family life quality and living environment, whilstshows main factors which influent life quality of empty nest aged people, and providessolutions in the end.
