Research On The American Research Universities’Cultivation Of Talents

We should learn from America on how to establish the world-class research universities, and the successful experience of outstanding achievements in cultivation of talents. In this paper, through the comparative research method, literature analysis method and other methods, we first make a description on the concepts of the American research universities, then analyze the essential difference between research universities and non-research universities in America; Second, through the concrete data to make a brief introduction about present situation of the talents cultivation of the American research universities, on the base of which the characteristics of the American universities’cultivation of talents are analyzed and summarized.
