The researcher attempts to discuss the implication of Multiple Intelligences theory for primary English teaching and students’learning and has come up with some suggestions for implementing it in primary English lessons. If students remember the words and use them in the right way is one of the standards for assessing the level of students’English learning. Students can learn and communicate well if they have a good command of vocabulary. In traditional teaching, teachers usually combine the word’s meaning and sentences to teach words, but it is not successful. Students are distracted by the boring teaching. The words cannot impress students well. Students even have never used the words in daily life. There isn’t an effective way to remember the words except reciting. With the revolution of vocabulary teaching, more and more schools have paid their attention to vocabulary teaching. The theory of Multiple Intelligences is a conceptualization of human intelligence introduced by Howard Gardner. According to Gardner, there are at least eight different but autonomous intelligence capacities that result in many different ways of knowing, understanding, and learning about our world. They include verbal-linguistic, logical-mathematical, visual-spatial, bodily-kindthetic, musical, interpersonal, naturalist and intrapersonal intelligences. Gardner believes that it is impossible for two individuals to hold the same level of intelligence, since each person’s intelligences are put together in quite different ways. So when it comes to education, the difference between students does not lie in who is more intelligent, but in what strengths everyone tends to own. So the teachers are called to employ multiple instructional methods that appeal to all the intelligences. Up to now, Western educators have studied many ways of implementing this theory in education. And in China, more and more researchers have begun to show an interest in it.This research tries to discuss the Multiple Intelligence Teaching Aiming at Primary School Student. The method of comparing experiment is adopted in this research. As the subjects,10students with learning disabilities are divided into experimental group and control group. The two groups are teaching in different ways. The researcher gets finds by observing their score in pretest, post test, memory curve and questionnaire. The findings show that Multiple Intelligence teaching method does effect students’words learning and memory. It enhances student’s interest in learning English, and spread their memory time of words.
