Current Situation Of Youth Sports Competitions And Athletes Registered Management

Youth sports are the foundation of any national sports, the important content andthe key indicator of the construction of sports power. The well-organized national youthsports competition can benefit not only the selection of youth sports athletes, but alsopopularization of youth sports in return, building the sports consciousness, promotingthe physical exercise behavior. This research is aimed to clarify the basic condition ofChinese youth sports competition, conclude the existing main problems, and putforward the suggestions for the improvement of youth sports competition. Consideringthe "fake age" and "false qualifications" are the focus of youth sports competition, inorder to put an end to the "fake age" and "false qualifications" within the institution,the research also makes the basic study of young athletes registration management, andpresents some basic ideas for the future work.The research takes national youth sports competition organized by sportsadministration system as the main research object, by means of the literature review,expert interview, field research, questionnaire, and logical analysis, and draws thefollowing main conclusions:1) At present there are two big youth competition organization system in ourcountry, one is under sports administration system, the other is under ministry ofeducation system. In order to better organize the youth sports competition andstandardize the management process, the two divisions set up the special agenciesresponsible for youth sports comprehensive and single national competition.2) The value of youth sports competition are to cultivate teenagers’ master spirit,promote the construction of the youth sports areas and develop the talent reserve ofcompetitive sports. The problems needed to be solved are the standardization ofcompetition management and competition organizational form, the qualification ofathletes and the support of contest funds.3) Building national young athletes registration management platform is significantfor improving the national youth talent reserve system, standardizing the managementof youth sports competition and promoting the orderly exchange of talents. The currentmain problems of young athletes registration work are the change of the age, theindependence of local young athletes registration work, and the different athletesregistration management approach used by sports administration and the ministry of education.Passed by experts’ demonstration, this research puts forward some concretesuggestions to further perfect our youth sports competitions and young athletesregistration work, and advises the feasibility plan of integration for youth sportscompetition and young athletes registration work should be further studied.
