With the development of social economy and the progress of science and technology,environmental problem has being appearing, how to carry out environment educationbetter is every country’s common problem. We can carry out environment educationeffectively in middle school teaching so that students are able to set up theconsciousness of protecting the environment, It is crucial to penetrate environmentaleducation in the content of textbooks into students’ mind. Environmental education inmiddle school in Japan, whether in theory or in practice which has been walking inthe forefront of the world, They have many successful experiences what are worthy oflearning and referencing.Therefore, this paper chooses Chinese chemistry textbooks (Chemistrycompulsory teaching materials1,2People’s Education Press), Japan Chemical Textbooks(Tokyo books Ltd.),as the objects of the comparative study. Using literaturemethod, content analysis method and comparative method for environmentaleducation text books respectively from the three aspects of material, section andillustrations for comparative analysis. Further studied based on differentcharacteristics of the two books. Draw the following conclusions:(1) Both China and Japan have focused on the development of environmentaleducation in high school, What’s more, they penetrate environmental education inthe content of textbooks. But By comparison, we learn the content of environmenteducation in Japanese textbooks infiltrate more comprehensive knowledges,according to the subjects from different aspects, a comprehensive and furtherexplanation on environmental issues are involved in different angles.(2) The statement of Japan textbooks not only used in content of environmentaleducation penetration with rich column, but also set a lot of columns. However,comparing with our textbooks, Japan textbook is a little weak in the richness andcoverage of the environmental education(3) The illustrations about the content of environmental education in the textbook,The Japanese textbook illustrations are novel, vivid, rich in content, bright and fully mobilize the enthusiasm of students, Compared with China’s illustration, thelatter is single type, rich content also slightly monotonous. |
