Since the 20th century, with the promotion of the international scientific education reforms, the countries of the world are all devoting great enthusiasm into the chemical curriculum reform,to cultivate the scientific inquiry ability of students,to improve students' scientific literacy and to develop scientific and technical personnel for country. In order to keep up with the trend of international reform,in 2003,Chinese ministry of education issued The New Senior High Syllabus.Followed this, the chemistry discipline also introduced The Standards of Senior School Chemistry Curriculum correspondingly. However, with the continuous development of society,in order to adapt to the new education form, the Chinese ministry of education issued The Standards of Senior School Chemistry Curriculum(2017)in January 2018.This standards compacts the core competences in chemistry, asks to training students' key accomplishments of macroscopic identification and microscopic analysis, the change of thoughts and the balance of ideas, evidence reasoning and model cognition, scientific inquiry and innovation consciousness, and scientific attitude and social responsibility, and based on this,a new curriculum objective is proposed. It indicated that the reform of education in our country has entered a new era.As the materialized product of curriculum reform, textbooks are not only the concrete embodiment of the curriculum reform standards, but also the important medium and resources for teachers and students to carry out teaching activities. Each set of textbooks has its distinct characteristics about era and area, which is an important carrier of curriculum reform thought. Therefore, with the reform of the curriculum, the revision of textbooks is the inevitable result.Japan and China have a similar cultural background. But as a developed country,Japan, influenced by the curriculum reform in the United States, began to reform the chemistry curriculum earlier than our country.Basically, there is a great curriculum reform every ten years,so Japan has more experience. They are also constantly innovating their textbooks,to pursue the international trend of curriculum reform.Under the long-turn development,Japanese textbooks have gradually formed a system of textbooks, which is based on one learning guidance, with multiple versions of textbooks. And this is exactly the development direction of Chinese textbooks.Due to the organic chemistry is an important content of chemistry, and occupies an important place in the chemistry education of high school, comparing the organic chemistry part of Chinese textbook with Japanese's,and researching their own characteristics can provide some help and reference for the compilation of Chinese textbooks. In 2013,Japan began to formally enforce the latest Curriculum Guideline of Institution of Higher Education. This paper selects the textbooks which is reformed by Japanese latest curriculum to compare with the current textbook in China,to understand the latest trend of curriculum reform of Japan, and to grasp the trend of foreign chemical curriculum reform.During the analysis of those textbooks from two countries, firstly,it analyzes the background of the two different textbooks overall, and analyzes their complication systems which are under two different curriculum objectives and content standards of the two countries,to understand the different goals of the two kinds of textbooks. Then,it analyses the columns, contents, experiments and exercise of the two kinds of textbooks individually, and finds out the differences ideas and special processing methods of the two kinds of textbooks in terms of the content arrangement and detail setting,to analyze the differences of setting methods, meaning tendencies and focus,to compare the similarities and differences between the different ways of the course objectives, and to analyze their strength and weakness. At last,it takes summary and reflection. The author puts forward some suggestions on the complication of high school chemistry textbooks of China,in order to make some contributions to the construction of chemical textbook complication in China.
