The math anxiety study has become a highly concerned topic inpsychology and pedagogy during the recent years. Math anxiety, as aspecial subject anxiety, is a kind of abnormal behavior performance andpsychological experience. A series of physiological change, behavioralperformance and psychological experience can be caused by the anxietyconcerned with math during the study process.These scales had good relatively reliability and validity and can becarried out formally.The age feature, the character of the math subject and pressure ofthe college entrance exam make the math learning cognition a problemand the article is based on the math education psychology and matheducation. The author carried out the investigation and questionnaires onthe math anxiety and learning situation. What’s more, the math anxietydifference in results,gender,age and area is also discussed in this essay.The study results are as the follows:1、The students in this study have slight math anxiety.2、Math anxiety is significantly negatively concepts and attitudes aremuch related to mathematics achievements. The students with high mathmarks are relatively low in math anxiety.3、The female students suffer more math anxiety than male students.4、Math anxiety varies from Grade10to Grade12. The Grade12students is much more anxious than other grades and there isn’t muchdifference between Grade10and Grade11.5、Math anxiety differs between urban area and outskirts. Thestudents in city suffer more math anxiety than the students in outskirts.The study discusses the high school math learning anxiety throughteachers, parents, students and education department. Teachers shouldhave right attitude towards the math teaching, build the active belief,foster the strong will. Parents should raise their cultural accomplishmentand build harmonious family atmosphere. Students should build up self-confidence, adjust themselves and communicate with teachers andparents.
