The history of chemistry which records its production,development and evolution. It discibes the systematic chmicalknowledge of things existing in nature in the long history of humanpractice.As an old saying goes: take history as a mirror for our guaidance.The history of Chemistry can help students understand the processof scienfic explorations better and improve their understanding ofChemical laws.besides,it also helps students experience thetentative and development of chemistry. With the culturalbackground of some chemical scientists, students can know thehistory behind chmical theories better, which promote their owngrowth, so the history of chemistry in chemistry classroom teachingis very necessary.In2004, with the reformation of new curriculum, the chemicaltextbooks were also renewed. According to the difference oftraining goals,these textbooks were divided into compulsorycourses and elective courses. In order to form scientific worldoutlook, the curriculum standards made it clear that the historyof human exploring the physical and chemical changes and the trendof science development should be combined together to guidestudents to learn chemical basic principles and methods. Highschool chemistry curriculum based on nine years of compulsoryeducation is to further improve students scientific literacy andcultivate students’all–round abilities.these textbooks enablestudents to obtain the harmonious development in three aspects ofthree dimensional target.Chemistry book2, which has rich historyand various contents is a good example. The book has an importantrole in not only meeting the standard requirements,but alsoimproving students’scientific literacy. This essay is based on the comprehensive use of various researchof literature and investigation method, which discuss the followingaspects:1.Investigation and analysis of chemistry history are usedin chemistry teaching.2.Chemistry history is used in problemanalyzing in the teaching practice.Firstly, the education of chemistry history is summarized inthe essay, which briefly describes its educational significance andthe historical background of chemical history education at home andabroad.Secondly, based on the theory of chemical history educationalfunction,the essay is combined with the3D target under the newcurriculum requirements to sort out and comparatively analyze thedistribution, presentation and its function of chemistry historyin the new curriculum standard People Education Press edition,Shandong,and Jiangsu chemical textbook2.At last,chemistry history teaching practice is fully used insome chapters in the student’s book2and students’ feedback aboutperceptions of the history of chemistry teaching is obtainedthrough interviewing students.
