| Linking theory with practice is always our Party’s fine tradition, the18th NationalCongress of the CPC claimed that set moral standards and cultivate talents are the basic tasks ofeducation, adhere to combining teaching with education is the basic principle for the collegestudents’ ideological and political education. The Party and the government has always put highvalue and emphasize that the college students should participate in social practice, grow anddevelop in the social melting pot, their social practice has been indispensable to collegeeducation. College students taking part in social practice has the main effect that cannot replacenot only in understanding national conditions, learning and contributing to the society,enhancing the abilities and perseverance, and cultivating character, but also in strengthening thesense of historical mission and social responsibility, as well as the effective approach forcolleges and universities to do ideological and political education and moral education.Related study in moral education function of college students’ social practice almostnever stops, and acquires many achievements. But the existing achievements are researched inwide range, not distinguish private institution from public institution. Since the twoschool-running systems are different, the progress of social practice and the development ofmoral education function are different, therefore, the author analyzes and concludes thedifferences between them on the basis of existing achievements according to the investigation,puts forward a more suitable theoretical system of social practice for independent colleges,which will give full play to the moral education function of students’ social practice in theindependent college.The thesis is presented as four parts. Chapter one, which is the part of introduction,explains the research background and purpose, briefly reviews current research in home andaboard, and introduces the research contents,methods, innovation and so on. Chapter two is thesurvey of students’ social practice in the independent college and the analysis of its moraleducation function. This chapter gives a summary of college students’ social practice and howthe students in independent college do social practice, and analyzes the moral educationfunction of students’ social practice in independent college. The third chapter of the articlediscusses the factors that affect the effects of students’ social practice in independent school.Ways and methods to realize the moral education function of students’ social practice inindependent college are described in Chapter Four. |
