Fostering and education of young college students’ the consciousness of responsibility has been thesubject of continued attention by the higher education of international community. Along with thedevelopment of society and changing times, the educational theories of the consciousness ofresponsibility for young college students have been improved constantly, the content has been enrichedcontinuously, and the practical means has become diverse increasingly. It is an age that knowledgeeconomy to be flourished and the trend of globalization to be obvious. In the trend that highereducation is fostered by elite towards a situation of mass popularity, status and mission of the collegestudents in the development of human society is undergoing a qualitative change. College students’sense of responsibility education has fallen behind social change and development, showing itsnarrowness and limitations. It is significant to enhance the education of the consciousness ofresponsibility among contemporary college students and put it into practice.In this thesis, I summarize related research at home and abroad, and analyze the contents ofcollege students’ consciousness of responsibility as well as its intension and features. Through readingand testifying related document, I find that some Chinese students have less consciousness about liferesponsibility, family responsibility, social responsibility, and ecological responsibility. Moreover, theeducation has partial deletion, educational theory and practice has become separated and thecooperation education of family and society is week. Finally, from the angle of problem solving, I thinkwe need to strengthen the consciousness of responsibility education of college students, combine theoryand practice, and build an education system of comprehensive, three-dimensional consciousness ofresponsibility. At the same time, I focus on analyzing the main front role of university; the role offamily, college and society together; the network edge; the penetration of traditional culture; and thepositive role of foreign advanced experience.
