The Research On Influencing Factors Of Thesis Quality

The quality of the thesis is an important sign to the quality of the postgraduate education.The effects of quality are in many aspects. Effects of the existing literature about the qualityof degree thesis factors exists one-sidedness. These factors are not analyzed and fix quantifiedon graduate thesis. The research has very important value in theory and practice oninfluencing factors of thesis quality.After analyzing the data, several factors which affect the quality of graduate degreethesis are extracted. The study is conducted in363students a self-designed questionnaire onthe quality of graduate degree thesis, the results of questionnaires process with SPSS13.0.This paper extracts five common factors from multiple factors, conclusions are drown asfollows: the most important influences on the quality of graduate degree thesis are theexternal environment and the course of cultivation, ability of mental adjustment andthe quality of students. They are positively correlated with the quality of graduate degreethesis. The anxious state on students is completely irrelevant to the quality of graduate degreethesis, which can affect the above three factors. The major of undergraduate is completelyirrelevant to the quality of graduate degree thesis.Based on the result, this thesis proposes some corresponding countermeasures andsuggestions. The main conclusions can provide a reference for reformation in Chinesegraduate students’ education.
