The popularity of higher education, the number of university graduates soaring increasedeach year,2013years "history of the most difficult employment" has been in the past, collegegraduates employment situation is still severe, the arrival of the2014"more difficult to obtainemployment", lets the increasingly serious employment problems caused the high attention ofthe country.As China has carried out the birth control policy since1980’s, nowadays Chinesefamilies have fewer children, at the same time the only-child college students are growing. Sowhen graduates make their career choices, family factors and parents expect of influence arealso gradually increasing.Therefore, launching the family expectations impacts on universitystudents’ employment research, understanding the employment situation and quality ofcollege graduates, and providing related assistance for the employment of college graduates,which has the practical significance.For the purpose, we take recent college graduates in Jiangxi Nanchang as the researchobjects. Through questionnaire survey and in-depth investigation to collect relevant data, weobtain238valid samples. We also access to a large number of literature data, and use themethod of depth interview, utilizing the data of interviews made a detail study of the results ofthe analysis and discussion.We utilize SPSS20.0and AMOS20.0statistical analysis tools to descriptive statisticsanalysis, reliability analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, independent sample T-test andregression analysis. First of all, we conclude the current situation characteristics of the currentsituation of family expectations by descriptive statistics analysis. And then according to theindependent sample T-test results, we find that family expectation differences under differentfamily capital, and family expectation also differences under different family parent-childrelationship.Secondly, we analyze the whole situation of university graduates employment cognition,and the influence of family expectations on university graduates’ employment expectationsand employment realization. The empirical analysis results shows that there is a correlationbetween family expectations and college students’ employment expectations, familyexpectations has significant affects on college students’ employment expectations. Theempirical analysis results also shows that there is a correlation between family expectationsand implementation of university students’ employment, family expectations has significantaffects on graduates’ signed work.Finally, according to the empirical analysis, we propose family expectations’ adjustmentstrategy from college students’ family, college students themselves, social and universities. We hope that through adopting corresponding countermeasures could promote the rationalizationof family expectations.
