Employment Conditions And Research On Graduates Of Social Sports Major In Yanan University

In recent years a survey about employment of university graduates was madearbitrarily by researchers. There are26.6%of people think it hard, while66.9%of themthink it less harder.56.8%of people think the problem will exists in long time, while21.6%of them think it will exist periodically. In one word, all of them think it hard onthis problem. In order to certify this subject, various ways of research, like logic analysis,are used to analyze employment condition of graduates of social sports major of YananUniversity (Totally395, from session2008to session2013)The result is: to now the employed graduates is315, with employment rate79.7%,among which17graduates chose to go further study, occupying5.4%of total numbers,and the remaining80choose other occupations(),occupying20.3%of total numbers. Thesurvey shows that: employment rate of social sports rate is comparably high. And fromthe survey we conclude: enrolment of social sports major in recent years not obvious andemployment rate is reducing. Majority part of graduates from social sports major engagesin primary and middle school education, in county-level cities and in fields of sports. Onecharacteristic is that their salaries are between1500-2000Yuan. Graduates take part innew job mainly through arrangement of parents, help of friends and so on. The surveyshows that graduating students’ working places are mainly in district-level andcounty-level cities, few in rural areas. The lowest salaries are more than2500Yuan, butmarket demands above county places are almost full.According to the result of the survey, it is concluded that the main factors affectingemployment of social sports specialty graduates are society, school and individual.Among them social factors affecting this major include national policy, the popularity ofthe national fitness, the demand of the society and the enrollment of other sports specialty, etc.; School factors mainly include teachers, training objectives, course design,practice, teaching facilities, etc.; Individual factors are mainly the employment ability,employment concept, specialized skill, family status, and the expected value ofemployment. According to these conclusions, several constructive suggestions are putforward.
