To Guide University Graduates To Work At The Grassroots: Current Situation And Countermeasures

Since 2003, the problem of college graduates has became increasingly striking, which has aroused the extroncering among scholars in vairou circles. Through investgating the reality of college grsduates, scholars find that the empoly difficulty of college graduates caused by the oversupply of talents, but by the structual employment imbalance of graduates in their choices of regions and trades, which is influenced by such aspects as economy, society and culture. Guaduates are over-attached to large cities and economically developed areas when hunting for jobs, while on grassroot level, talents of high-quality and expertise are urgent for talent. In the light of the problem, the general office of CPC central committce and the state council issued the suggestions on directing and encourging college graduates to be oriented to the grassroot, which not only solves the problem of standard empolyment imbalance of college graduates, but also the countryside and the overall rural and developement by the macro adjutment of preferential policy to attract high-guality personal for the grasroof economic construction.These preferential policies have produced postifine effects, as the number of college graduates working on grasstoot level is steadily growing. However, the urgent need on the west areas of grassroot for talent is far from its requirement, and the employment difficulty of college graduates is far from solved. Therefore, based on the investigation and analysis of graduates in six unversities in chengdu, this article aims to explore the factors ininflencing the employment of college students and provide some operational measures, and suggestions.Chapterâ… :Introduction. Based on empirical research, i put forward four proposals and countermeasures:1. To formulate a comprehensive policy about how to guide and encourage university students to work in grass-roots level.2. To strengthen propaganda and education work.3. To improve the grass-roots employment environment.4. The university students should change the concept of employment and enhance the employability in grass-roots level.Therefore, there are some contributions in this dissertation as following:1. It becomes a social hot-topic that the college students go to the grass-roots to work. As the theme concerning this phenomenon, it proposes some countermeasures and suggestions, which will play an important role in policy guidance and practical operation.2. This paper also finds out some true reasons that the university students do not want to go the grass-roots from their wills through investigation. Because of this, we can carry out more powerful measures.However, in this article, there also are some shortcomings:firstly, in terms of the absence of empirical literature of primary employment about university students, and the defect of questionnaire design, this dissertation need to be further amended. Secondly, Because of the limitations of money, time, energy, and capacity, the selected sample is not comprehensive enough, too few in number, and it just concludes some colleges in Chengdu in the geographical distribution. Thirdly, in the empirical analysis, because th data collection is mainly determined by the type variable, it is difficult to find an effective research perspective and research method, and the effect is still not very satisfactory with a lot of time and efforts.
