Migrant workers are the new social strata in China’s economic social development process.Into the twenty-first century, in this population shift to cities is showing the family migration,scale situation. With the increasing number of the migrant parents, the number of their childreninto the city to live and study also increases dramatically. Because of the influence of theoriginal rural overall economic、 cultural and educational development lag factors, children ofmigrant workers into the city are faced with difficult to adapt to school life in urban schools.Migrant workers into the prosperity of China’s urbanization process and the economy to make agreat contribution and their children are also cannot be neglected in the future urbandevelopment. If the education of this group have not been properly addressed, it is likely tobecome a destabilizing factor in society. For this reason, All aspects of the state、 society、schools and educators should work together,in order to effectively improve the schooleducation current situation of children of migrant workers.Based on this, this article takes X city migrant children of compulsory teaching ages as thebreakthrough point, the research result of the migration population at home and abroad to theirchildren’s education, and the related theory of social system of social management、the theory ofpeople’s socialization、the theory of social support、psychological motivation concept、socialstratification、social mobility theory, the design and implementation of the project which abouteducation adaptability of migrant children in schools are based on multi-case methodology.Furthermore, multi case methodology can be used to evaluate the influence of theimplementation and offer some suggestions for improvements. The thesis is divided into fiveparts to study. The first chapter is introduction, introduces the background and significance,Related Concepts and overview of relevant research at home and abroad, the research contentand methods. The second part of this paper would show the questionnaire survey from1500migrant children who reached school age and their parents. According to this questionnairesurvey, we can understand the current situation of education, problems and reasons for migrantchildren. The third part of this paper would argue education adaptability of migrant children willbenefit from social intervention through the introduction of relevant theories and feasibility ofbasic conditions. The forth part of this paper would analysis deeply the influence of socialintervention on the design and implementation of the project which about education adaptabilityof migrant children in schools is based on multi-case methodology. Furthermore, multi case methodology can be used to evaluate the influence of the implementation and offer somesuggestions for improvements. The last part of this essay would analysis deficiencies from fouraspects, which fund, organizational management, human resources and policies.The object of this study is to offer reference to the government and educational deportmentto improve the present situation of education for migrant children and specially increasing thelevel of education adaptability in schools and promoting the sound development of children’sbodies and minds.
