A Study On Building Of High-level Sports Team Of University In Guangdong Province

In recent years, China’s major cities have been organized national and internationalsports competition events, with them China’s sports undertakings is successfully pushed in thetrack of healthy development. College physical education as an important part of the sports,not only have developed faster and faster, but also more and more important can not bereplaced. As early as28years ago, the former State Board of Education issued "A notice ofcolleges and universities to recruit high-level athletes pilotly", which put the establishment ofhigh-level sports teams in colleges and universities as a form of competitive sports and schoolsports’ fusion to develop. The purpose is to improve high-level sports talents for the country,the goal is to carry on the World University Games and the international and domestic sportcompetition. Making a contribute for the national Olympic Glorious Program and thesustainable development of sports[1]."But with passing the peak of the construction and development of high-level sportsteams, college sports teams gradually become weak, stagnant state of development. Therelevant administrative departments in enrollment, school management, competition and otheraspects began to appear failure. Therefore, the sound of reforming is getting bigger, but it stillcan not catch up the needs of each university athletic teams development.In this thesis, I choose the relevant public policy as the perspective of College Athletesconstruction.11colleges as my study object in Guangdong province. Starting from the macrolevel, focusing on influences taking by government public policy in enrollment, schoolmanagement,competition these constituent elements. Understand, collect and summary thecurrent situation and problems of high-level sports teams through survey and visit to providemeasures appropriately, then to enhance its ability of guidance and building. Providing reformstrategies from theory and practice, in order to expand the advantages of high-level sportsteams and accelerate the pace of its construction.I use literature consultation, questionnaires，expert interviews and other research methods. Research is summed up by the followingconclusions： 1. At present. Guangdong’s situation is temperate in recruitment, but still has a big differencebetween intercollegiate and geographical, lacking of policy guidance and support.2. Because of recruitment policy standards, there are so many levels of grades. Some studentathletes’ sports performance is not outstanding, but still get the lower grades in collegeentrance examination, not only bring difficulty for studying after school, but also break thejustice in society.3.The pressure of contradictory between studying and training is still obvious. Thestudent-athletes are not enthusiastic in concentrating on training.While most ofstudent-athletes are lacking of learning basis and study habits without less scientific studyguide. Therefore, student-athletes are trapped into a dilemma.4.The coaches of high-level sports teams are mostly nominated without a standard. Andlacking of incentives mechanisms and evaluation mechanisms, causing the team of coachingis not good enough. Some of them are lacking of pressure and passion on work.5. collegiate sports competition appears many difficult situations, such as：chaos in dividinggroup，long cycle time of most competitions, recruitment and competition can’t match eachother, which are not good for the development of high-level sports teams.
