Investigation On Current Situation Of Management In Guangzhou Table Tennis Club And Its IOS Mode Building

With the continuous implementation of ‘National fitness Program’, and the improvementof people’s living standard as well as the increasing pressure of student study, more and morepeople pay attention to keep fitness. Table tennis club, which is a kind of sports organizingformation, is the sign of one country’s development in economy and society as well as themirror of culture. Because of many reasons, the development of table tennis club has bigdifference both in and out of our country. Management, the dominant factor of clubdevelopment, also has big difference.Methods including documentary review, questionnaire, experts interview, statistics andlogical analysis have been used in the paper to help study and analyze the current situation oftable tennis club in Guangzhou and find the good model in management to providesuggestions for table tennis club in Guangzhou and other first-tier cities. The conclusions areas follow:According to the result of investigation, the table tennis club in Guangzhou hascharacteristics of diversification, proper distribution and most with middle-large scale. Mostmanagers of clubs have university education background, and create different kinds of waysto attract players. Clubs adopt the way of working together scientifically by coaches andmanagers to make players be fully and professionally trained.Meanwhile, several problems including lack of management knowledge have beenexisting among managers. With fierce competition in market, the problem of improper pricebecome serious and the lack of club promotion work has affected the future development. Thecoaches in Guangzhou table tennis club have strengths in way of diverse teaching methodsand professionalism but with the weakness of little teaching experience and little self-training.Club players don’t have strong consumption awareness and with much arbitrariness whenplaying as well as little consumption needs.Based on the problems and focus on the idea of “people+system+innovation”, clubsmust strengthen the management of club itself, foster advanced idea, strengthen the teambuilding and clear the levels of management system. Clubs must clear market positioning,plan relevant policies, adopt chain operation idea and expand the business scale. The way of improving countermeasure system are as follows, improve the management and professionalskills of coach team, strengthen the supervision of table tennis industry, more clubpromotion activities and enhance customers’ consumption awareness.This paper is involved in the IOS mode by analyzing the current situation of table tennisin Guangzhou. As a new industry with bright future, table tennis club needs policies supportfrom government. Relevant policies, supervision system, fixed price, management idea,management level, and promotion ideas needs to be clear to promote the development ofGuangzhou table tennis club scientifically and practically.
