“Lightening” is the hot topic in today’s people discussion for students. It arousesnew reflection and thinking whether there is another form of academic burden whichacts as the important part of students’ homework. The paper carefully describes anddeeply analyzes the whole process of one of primary school homework aiming atrevealing the relationship between different subjects to construct the entire operationof the production process and these relations having the influence to shape thestudent’s body and mind. That is to answer the question of what kind of people dostudent shape by doing homework.We carried out the investigation of school homework based on exploration thevalue of appeals of which are from two different kinds of homework view. One is thatacquired knowledge from direct experience. The other is that acquired knowledgefrom indirect way. The author mainly elaborates her opinion from the aspect of thewhole process of school homework production and from the aspect of theunderstanding the current school homework of different subject. In three aspects ofhomework design, processing operations and inspection and acceptance of thehomework, students just do their homework according to teacher’s instruction andsurround the communication process of homework and different subjects. So thestudents are completely in a passive situation. Moreover, the school teachers not onlymaintain the way of traditional homework but also adaptation many disciplinetechniques in order to keep and strengthen the authority of homework. Meanwhile, thestudent’s parents play the role of supervising and helping students to finishhomework.The school homework has already shaped the modeling operation. It can reflectfrom the contents of homework itself and the outside homework operation. Accordingto three kinds of existential situation made by Hannah Arendt, we conclude that doinghomework does not belong to the act but to work. It is a repeat work and lack ofcreativity. It is forced by the requirement so student role can’t able to take in theaction. We can basically conclude that students’ homework do not belong to the action. At the same time, different subjects build a kind of complex relation focusing on theproduction structure of homework among students, teachers and parents. That is thepower relationship. Students are in a passive state in this relationship. In the early agestudents are taught by moral principles of labor glory and you will have a better life ifyou studied hard. Students are forced to do their homework at desk thus it limits theirfreedom and activity. Gradually, they become a person of listening to directions andwithout creativity. Consequently, they become a worker required by society.They should reflect their behavior and the current school homework includingschools, teachers, parents and students in order to make students develop by doinghomework. We should get rid of the rule of the current education practice. Accordingto the benefits of students, the reform of school homework puts into practice byeveryone’s action.
