My Favorite Kindergarten

Due to the impact of utilitarian education, preschool education has aadult-centered strong color, it reflected that high-quality preschool education orkindergarten are measured by the standard of adult, but it is few studies about whatkindergarten do they like as a preschool education subjects. Based on the right toparticipate and express to own related matters of children, include they express theirviews on their favorite kindergarten, this study research children’s favoritekindergarten by the perspective of children, discuss that centered on preschool childreninstead of adults like what the kindergarten is.This study selected160children (half male and half female) of middle and largeclass in Lanzhou four kindergartens, we collect resources by5dimensions from theenvironmental creation, human interaction, the quality of teachers, the content andform of activity, eating and sleeping by the methods of interviews and collect goods.After analyzing, we elaborate the children’s favorite kindergarten under fiveaspects from an environmental creation, peer interaction, teacher quality, the contentand form of activity, eating and sleeping. The favorite kindergarten under theperspective of children should be the creation of a beautiful environment, a lot of toys,have a secure mental atmosphere; kindergarten should be have a lot of kids, and getalong well with the kids; teacher should be have a good heart and a lot of knowledge,be beautiful and gentle; should be free games and learn knowledge; have nutritionalsumptuous meals and nice comfortable bedding.Through research children’s favorite kindergarten, it is not only help uscomprehend what kindergarten do they like in the eyes of children by perspectivetransformation, but also put forward explicit request about changing children view,adult-centered and adult-centric behavior. Preschool children need to understandchildren, the concerns of the demands of children, respect the feelings of the children,while the study also proposed substantive comments for the construction ofkindergarten. Respect children, understand children, listen to children’s voices, concerns the demands of children is a basic requirement for education, should makepreschool children enjoy free and happy preschool education.
