The Practice And Reflection On The Spreading Of Chinese Martial Arts In Egypt

under the background of rapid development of Chinese economy andinternational status, Chinese culture has being heated. Confucius Institute which iscentered with Chinese culture spreading has emerged. As one of the quintessence ofChinese cultures, Chinese martial art contains rich traditional culture. In2007, aims atthe spreading of excellent Chinese culture, China established Confucius Institute atCairo University, Egypt. Chinese martial art is an important part of the institute. Thepresent study, uses literature and data, reasoning, and demonstration, and guided byLasswell’s5W theory of communication, researched and analysed the subject, content,channel, audience, and effect of the communication. The purpose is to find out theproblems like the lack of training organizations, single spreading media, short ofteachers, unbalanced male and female students, language barrier during the spreadingof Chinese martial through Confucius Institute, also, personal suggestions andcountermeasures are to be raised. By doing these, mirrors could be offered for thefurther development and spreading of Chinese martial arts in Confucius Institute atCairo University.
