Research On The Spreading Process Of Martial Arts Culture Of The Confucius Institute In Cameroon Under 'The Belt And Road'

After President Xi Jinping proposed the “Belt and Road” initiative in 2013,the deepening of economic globalization has promoted cultural exchanges among countries.As an important collection of traditional Chinese culture,martial arts are gradually accelerating their pace towards the world.For example,martial arts entered the Youth Olympic Games.The Confucius Institute is an important interface and platform for Chinese traditional culture to go global.Therefore,this article chooses to use this as an entry point to carry out a case study on the martial arts culture propagation process of the Confucius Institute in Cameroon,known as "Little Africa"("Confucius Institute" for short).This article uses the scientific research methods of literature,field investigation,classroom observation,interviews,questionnaires,mathematical statistics and other scientific research methods,using the Lasswell 5W model in communication science from martial arts teachers and martial arts students of the Confucius Institute in Cameroon,Martial arts courses,martial arts cultural activities,martial arts cultural dissemination achievements,etc.,elaborate the martial arts cultural dissemination process of the Confucius Institute in Cameroon under the background of the “Belt and Road”,analyze its characteristics and existing problems;The three aspects of identity,cultural interface,and the third perspective put forward issues and suggestions that can be avoided in the development of the Cameroon Confucius Institute martial arts culture in the context of the "Belt and Road".In order to provide theoretical guidance for the selection and training of martial arts teachers and volunteers of the Confucius Institute in Cameroon;to provide supplements and basis for the future compilation of multilingual martial arts cultural textbooks,integration of Confucius Institute teachers,and optimization of the martial arts cultural communication channels.Generally speaking,the martial arts culture of the Second Confucius Institute in Cameroon has a budding stage and a development stage,which mainly presents the stateof “martial arts and Chinese alternately first”.The current research after the "Belt and Road" initiative to 2020 is in the development stage.Cameroon Confucius Institute martial arts teachers(communicators)from scratch,from their own country(China)to localization(Cameroon);martial arts cultural publicity activities from participation to self-organization.According to the research on the martial arts culture propagation process of the Confucius Institute in Cameroon under the background of the “Belt and Road”,the following suggestions are made:In terms of cross-cultural identity(development of communicators,audiences,and media with cross-cultural identities): selection of Cameroonian Confucius Institute teachers and volunteers with compound identities such as martial arts expertise;domestic efforts to strengthen the training of Confucius Institute teachers and volunteers in martial arts cross-cultural communication Ability to accelerate the implementation of the training of local martial arts teachers abroad;develop the cross-cultural communication ability of martial arts media.Cultural interface: Strengthen the interpretation of Chinese culture in the cultural class(comprehensive class)to promote the cross-cultural identity of Cameroonians to Chinese culture;enrich cultural activities to increase the cross-cultural adaptation of Cameroonians to Chinese culture;implement the interaction of martial arts to martial arts culture We will disseminate the values of martial arts fitness,continue to summarize the achievements of the martial arts culture of Cameroon Confucius Institute,and build the third culture of martial arts culture in the Cameroon Confucius Institute.The third perspective: adding martial arts equipment,martial arts music,martial arts clothing,martial arts and television with the characteristics of the Cameroon Confucius Institute from the perspective of cultural diversity;from the perspective of the “Belt and Road” economic globalization development,combining multiple theoretical knowledge and market demand To promote the integration of the martial arts industry with equipment,apparel,music,film and television,and other industries,and develop the Cameroon martial arts culture industry economy.
