As the cradle for training talents, the development of engineering science collegesin universities plays an important role in improving productivity of our country. Inthese colleges full-time teachers are indispensable human resources who shoulder theimportant mission of research and innovation and cultivate talents.Extensive studiesaround incentive mechanisms of full-time teachers in universities had been done theseyears in our country. However, few studies of incentive mechanismsabout full-timeteachers in engineering science colleges had been reported.G Engineering College in H University is a general university of our country. HUniversity ranked150th to200th in our country according to2014universityrankings.Take G Engineering College of this university’s development projectsasresearch object and study its full-time teachers incentive situation has a certainpractical significance.Firstly, through the questionnaire survey, an investigation of the current situation ofthe incentive had been done during full-time teacher of G EngineeringCollege.Research direction was established after problems in development projecthad been raised. On this basis, methods such as literature research, comparativeanalysis were used to study incentive mechanism of full-time teachers in universitiesand common characteristics of full-time teachers in engineering science colleges. Onthe basis of project characteristics, full-time teachers’ incentive proposal of thisproject had been put forward.Study on university teachers’ incentive in the perspective of subject classificationwas the novelty. Combined with these teachers’ features of scientific research,teaching and emotions, incentive mechanism’s three-dimensional characteristics withclassifications, responsibility and timeline had been put forward after study on thefull-time teachers’different characteristics between colleges of engineering scienceand liberal arts. At the same time,5premises,4principles and21specific incentivemeasures which have guiding significance had been came up with. Secondly, take full-time teachers incentive of G Engineering College developmentprojects as research object and found that human-based management had outstandingutility,so that this college achieved great success with less cost. However, lack ofother units’ cooperation, it is slow for some incentive measures to be carried out.Andit leads to the slow development of engineering science colleges, unable to achieveenhancement in quality.At last, improvement suggestionsof G Engineering College development projectshad been put forward.1. Different responsibility units should strengthen theinteraction and connection with others so that every incentive measurescan beimplemented.2. These colleges must set development goalsof different stagescombined with school’s development.3. Strengthen teachingreform,promotedevelopment of teaching and scientific research.4. Strengthen the management ofhuman nature, realize the combination of rigid management and flexiblemanagement.
