With the new situations of national strategic innovation of the adjustment of national economic structure,continuous upgrading of industries and continuous strengthening of innovation power,the private colleges,as an important part of higher education,for the purpose of surviving and developing should speed up the transformation,constantly promote the connotation construction and improve the talent quality of education to meet the requirements of the state and society.As the core competitiveness of private colleges,the construction of teachers' team is related to the improvement of teaching quality.Under the current new situations,it is significant to study the development of private colleges,especially the performance appraisal of teachers in private colleges,which can speed up the connotative development of private colleges.As a typical private undergraduate university in Shandong,Shandong Xiehe University is facing two major tasks: the undergraduate teaching qualification assessment of the Ministry of Education and the construction of the famous schools in Shandong Province.Under such circumstances,this paper takes the performance appraisal of full-time teachers of Shandong Xiehe University as the research object.Under the guidance of relevant theories,the author use questionnaires method to analyze five problems of full-time teachers' performance appraisal system.According to the problems,the author puts forward the ideas and principles of optimization.And then optimizes and forms the annual performance appraisal system for full-time teachers which takes the teachers' morality assessment for the first,gives priority to teaching process and teaching performance assessment and focuses on the three kinds abilities of teaching,teaching and scientific research and social services.Then the author builds the post appointment assessment system for full-time teachers which includes assessments of teachers' code of morality,the results of the annual assessment,teaching and research work.It has filled the blank that the school has no post appointment evaluation system.The author integrates daily assessment into annual assessment,and combines annual assessment with appointment assessment,and gradually establishes a full-time teacher performance appraisal system,which consists of daily assessment,annual assessment and appointment assessment.This system has practical significance for Shandong Xiehe University and has references for othersimilar colleges.
