With the promoting of Chinese new basic education reform and the deepening of new course concept, our primary and secondary schools are generally set up information technology course now. As an emerging discipline, its goal is to improve students’ information literacy. The teaching of information technology classroom determines the improving of students’ information literacy. Classroom assessment as an important part of classroom teaching, provides the guidance and feedback for classroom teaching. Classroom assessment helps to improve teachers’ classroom teaching and promote students’ learning, therefore it can improve the efficiency of classroom teaching, promote the cultivating of students’ information literacy and comprehensive development of students.The research methods include the literature research method, investigation method, observation method and action research method. In this paper, through the qestionnaire survey, statistics and analysis of survey data comprehensively on students in grade five at Dingziqiao Primary School in Wuhan,Hu Bei,the author finds out some problems about classroom assessment and designs the evaluation program based on the problems. Then based on the evaluation program, author carries out the verification of example.The conclusion is that good classroom assessment can enhance students’ learning motivation, facilitate the communication between teachers and students, adjust classroom learning atmosphere. Thus it can enhance the efficiency of classroom teaching and promote the cultivating of students’ information literacy.This thesis includes six chapters, specific chapters following:The first chapter mainly introduces the background and significances of the study, the research status during the domestic and foreign, the research content and method.The second chapter mainly states the core concepts and basic theory, then appropriate evaluation of the theoretical basis is respectively discussed.The third chapter elaborates the investigation and analysis of the current situation. Firstly, the author designs the questionnaire, through granting and recovering the questionnaire, statistics and analysis of survey data, then the author finds out some problems about classroom assessment on information technology course in primary school now.The fourth chapter designs the classroom assessment program. The author designs the program based on classroom assessment basis, indicators and methods with regard to the problems.The fifth chapter is the verification of example. Firstly, the author selects the class and teaching content, design and select evaluation dimensions and standards;secondly the author select and design evaluation tools based on the teaching content, evaluation dimensions and standards;finally the author analyses the evaluation result on students, formulate appropriate learning improvement plans to make self-reflection and self-summary for teachers and students.The sixth chapter is the summary and outlook. It introduces the research results and some suggestions for the teachers on information technology course in primary school, and discusses the limitations of this study.
