With the arrival of information age,the information literacy has been a fatal index to evaluate the basic quality of population.Especially for the primary and secondary school students,the way to increase their information literacy is important to the future world and personal responsibility for lifelong learning.In traditional classes,teachers control the whole procedure of teaching and learning,whereas students have to be passively learned,without independently thinking and solving the problems.However,the flipped classroom focuses on the learning procedure of students,emphasizing the way to increase the capacity of students and solve practical issues.Through the videos prepared before class,the students are asked to learn the basic knowledge.During class,the students are able to understand more deeply,discuss with each other,operate based on cooperative learning,and finally increase their capacity.Then,how to increase the capacity of students by the flipped classroom? The above problem is discussed in this dissertation and some important conclusions can be drawn.First,the cognitive features of the students from urban-rural fringe are characterized as: 1)the broad knowledge scopes and superficial cognition;2)remembering and thinking chiefly in terms of pictures or other material objects;3)keeping a watchful eye on the interesting matters around them,poor ability of self-control and the instability of learning;4)the short attention spans and a quick interest shifting.Second,directed by constructivism learning theory,master learning theory,and recent development zone theory,the principles to prepare teaching resources are concluded as adaptability,scene creation,figurativeness,short steps,explication,and interactivity.Third,instructional design is compared between the traditional class and the flipped class that lead to different teaching activities.Finally,the indexes of the information literacy are concluded in terms of open literature and information literacy competencies.The assumption is tested in experiments according to the indexes of the information literacy.It can be concluded that different classroom contents,for information technology course,have different emphasis on the cultivation of students' information literacy.The best fit for the primary students in information technology course to increase their information literacy is the literacy of problem consultation and individuality evaluation.The theoretic course fit to increase the literacy of information inquiry,processing,and conclusion.The practice course fit to increase the literacy of task completing,generalization,and summarization.The course of information inquiry has a calming effect on knowledge acquisition and information processing.However,the flipped class is not good at increasing the literacy of contentious issue and adjustment control.
