A Comparative Research Of International Supervision And Domestic Supervision

Supervision has a role of guide to social work practice. With the increase of social workers and the development of social work service, the need of supervision has been increased. The government started attach importance to social work development, putting the building of social work talent team. On the other side, there are some problem in the development of social work, like the lack of professional social work institutions and the lack of professional superiors and the lack of supervision institution. In this background, many social work institutions employed supervisors from HK,Taiwan. The supervisors came from International and Domestic take the supervision job together.There is an increasing demand in indigenization of Domestic social work. In this background, how to locate International supervision in the running of social work organizations and how to understand the relationship between International and Domestic supervision is very important to build Domestic supervision system.The paper tried to get know of the differences and the contact between supervisions from HK and Jinan based on a research of A social work organization, hoping be helpful for the localization of social work.Then I find supervisions from HK and Jinan have different deflections. They are different in the way of supervision, the contents of supervision, supervision relation, the role and authority of superiors. The International supervision is precocious in contents and it is growth orientation. The Domestic supervision is timely and question orientation.Areal differentiation affects the way of supervision. The value of time, the knowledge and cultural background affects the contents of supervision. The role and social field of supervisors affects the supervision relation. Besides, the International super-vison and Domestic supervision are two independent systems. But there is a parallel and Complementary relationship between supervisions from HK and Jinan.
