“Morality and law basis” course(hereinafter referred to as the “base” course) isone of the ideological and political theory course, the section of practice teaching ofthe “base” course is an important part of the whole teaching process, an effective wayto deepen the classroom teaching, and the necessary means for college students tomaster knowledge. Therefore, strengthening the study of the practice teaching mode ofthe “base” course will help improve the teaching quality, improve the effect of the“base” course, and play a positive role of it.This paper took the methods of questionnaire investigation and the literatureresearch to research. First of all, investigated the related theories of the practiceteaching mode of the “base” course as the breakthrough point, defined the connotation,characteristics, extension of the practice teaching of the “base” course, defined theconnotation, constituent elements and effects of the practice teaching mode of the“base” course, elaborated the theoretical basis of building the practice teaching mode;Second, conducted the investigation and cause analysis of the teaching presentsituation of the “base” course in three universities in Dalian by questionnaire survey;Again, the specific scheme of constructing the practice teaching mode was put forward;Finally, drew the conclusion: five main problems of the “base” course teaching werediscovered at present stage, which were not enough emphasis on the practice teachingby students, single form of practice teaching, non-standard operating mechanism in thepractice teaching, not-ideal effect of the practice teaching, not-comprehensiveevaluation mechanism. Investigated its reason, mainly were in sufficient attention ofthe practice teaching, too much time on teaching form and not-comprehensive workingmechanism. Therefore, we should research the principles of practice teaching, practice teaching target, teaching content, the path and working mechanism of practice teachingand so on, to build the feasible “base” lesson practice teaching mode.
