Since The History Curriculum Standard in General Senior Middle School(hereinafter referred to as The Standard) was released in2003, new history curriculumhas been in use for ten years. As a framework document in senior middle schoolhistory teaching and the curriculum reform, a lot of experts, scholars and teachers on thefront have studied The Standard from different angles and yielded a lot of positiveresults. Thus, in the hope of collecting and sorting out the findings of researches on TheStandard, this thesis seeks to analyze the research achievements, reflect theproblems,and propose revised suggestions and trends for for the future researches of TheStandard.The body of this thesis is made up of four parts: The first part carries on a statisticsof the area, year, type and journal of the past researches on The Standard, and displaysthe findings and trend of these researches in the form of graph with captions for analysisand explanation. The next part is divided into the content research and the comparativeresearch of The Standard. The former includes the research of the concept nature,curriculum objective, content standard and suggestion. The latter includes thecomparative study between The Standard and The History Teaching Syllabus, the studyon the connection between The Standard and The History Course Standard of theCompulsory Education and the comparative study between domestic and foreign historycurriculum standards. The third part contains the study on the relationship between TheStandard and teaching, between The Standard and the history textbook and between TheStandard and the College Entrance Examination. It mainly pertains to the study on newteaching concept and method, the textbook’s strengths and weaknesses and the designand the strategy for preparing the College Entrance Examination in the new curriculum standards. The fourth part summarizes the problems and weaknesses in the researches ofThe Standard in the past decade and proposes the extension area and direction of thefuture research.
